An encouter with a gentle giant

The butanding, or whale shark, is one of the biggest fish of record. And just yesterday, i was blessed with the opportunity to swim with them and witness their beauty and size...

Life is truly short and beautiful... who would've thought that swimming with these gentle giants would really humble an arrogant person such as me. Imagine a giant fish... so tough and powerful as the butanding, would shy away in the pressence of human beings. They would just go on their ways and enjoy their lives without any signs of boasting what they have.

It is also a blessing to be able to witness the gracefulness of a gentle giant as it swims in the sea... and the best part is really how gentle they are with people swimming around them.

Truly one of nature's greatest gifts and beauty one must see...

They can be located in the town of donsol in the months of january to may.
